State of AI in HR
Report 2026
What HR leaders across APAC reveal about readiness, adoption, and the road ahead

AI adoption in HR is accelerating — but ambition and readiness aren't the same thing. We surveyed HR leaders across Singapore and the Philippines to uncover where AI is already transforming HR functions, what's slowing adoption down, and the one factor that separates organizations that are getting it right from those that aren't.
What the data reveals:
1.
Adoption Is Accelerating — But Unevenly
82% of HR leaders plan to adopt AI, but adoption rates and confidence levels vary significantly across the region.
2.
Disconnected Systems Are the Primary Barrier
1 in 2 HR leaders say fragmented data is already limiting their ability to adopt AI.
3.
Data Confidence Doesn't Equal AI Readiness
79% are confident in their data accuracy — but only 21% trust AI enough to act on its recommendations without checking first.
4.
Consolidation Is Gaining Ground
71% of organizations have already consolidated their HR tools, and 82% plan to go further.
5.
Analytics and Employee Service Lead AI Adoption
AI is taking hold first in analytics (61%) and employee service (60%), with more strategic applications following as foundations mature.
The data points to one clear conclusion: the organizations moving meaningfully on AI aren't necessarily moving the fastest — they're building the right foundation first. Our full report breaks down what that foundation looks like, where the gaps are, and what HR leaders across Singapore and the Philippines are doing about it.
