What is PCB in Malaysia?

PCB (Potongan Cukai Bulanan), or Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD), is income tax that employers deduct from employees' monthly pay and remit to LHDN. It is calculated using LHDN's MTD schedule and offsets the employee's final tax for the year, so most employees owe little or nothing when they file.
